How to Use WhatsApp on Your Computer - WhatsApp Web

Millions of people use WhatsApp to stay in touch with family, friends, or even colleagues if you’re in a work group chat.

No matter what you’re using Whatsapp for there is a better way to use it than using your phone.

That’s by using WhatsApp Web instead, letting you send and receive WhatsApp messages straight from your Mac or PC.

This method is great especially if you are trying to reduce screen time on your phone, get less distracted, or use a proper keyboard to type out messages instead of doing it all through your phone. And you can still send and receive images and videos.

Getting Set Up

To get started type WhatsApp Web into your web browser. If you have accidentally typed just Whatsapp it will take you to the WhatsApp homepage. There will be a button that shows “WhatsApp Web”. Click that and you’re in!

You have the choice of using the browser-based version or you can download the desktop app!

When you open Whatsapp web it will prompt you with a QR code and some instructions to follow

Instructions For iPhones:

Go to the settings menu in your WhatsApp mobile app.

Tap ‘Linked Devices’

Tap ‘Link a device’

This will pull up your camera to scan the QR code. Scan the QR code and you will automatically log in to your WhatsApp account through WhatsApp web.

Don’t worry though you won’t lose access through your phone! You can swap back and forth between devices easily.

Now you’re in you may not see all of your conversations straight away, but they should start downloading, and you will be able to chat with any of your groups or contacts.

This can be great if you talk to a lot of your customers through WhatsApp – save looking at your phone screen and typing on the little keyboard and give yourself the ability to work seamlessly across devices.

I hope this helps you get better with your communication for your business or personal!
